Post trauma it’s a mental health condition that triggered by a terrifying event, situation, experience that was witnessed before.
This is the promoting of women’s sense self worth, their abilities to determine their own choice and the right to influence social change for themselves and others.
To sensitize the public on health related issues e.g. outbreak of diseases such as HIV/AIDS, cholera, cancer awareness, COVID-19 and sanitation programmes.
Provide counseling and psychosocial support to traumatized persons.
Our primary mision is to restore and bring back light and hope into the lives of the boys and girls (refugees) who have been sexually abused, raped and physically violated. In addition to this, we also aim at raising funds for vocational education, counselling in order to add light and contribute to the future wellbeing of these people.
Nuru is a Swahili word meaning Light. Speaking from experience, many boys and girls who have undergone sexual and physical abuse end up going into a dark place where it is often very difficult to come out without the proper help
We are a non profit organization based in Canada working with youths in the refugee camp in Uganda.

We are a non-profit organization based in Canada, working with youths in the Uganda refugee Camps.
We are working to uplift the lives of boys and girls who have undergone sexual and physical violence. We are helping young girls, who have been forced into early motherhood by providing education and a trade, as well as reaching out to boys who can be difficult to help due to their fear of appearing vulnerable when they are expected to be tough
The Founder fo NURU HOPE FOUNDATION is ANUARITE MANYOHA.
"My heartfelt calling is to help others heal from abuse as I have done. I want them
to know there is hope."____said the Founder.
